Job Description
OVERALL MISSION / PURPOSE
Help DE and EC create and modify schematics, BOM, change history and ECN/ECR.
CAD is a key role to control and maintain the versions of all documentations and components.

Help DE and EC create and modify schematics, BOM, change history and ECN/ECR.
CAD is a key role to control and maintain the versions of all documentations and components.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and follow up project of switched mode power supplies development
- PCB layout design to meet customer spec requirement and AEI DFM standards
- Create and modify schematics and draft BOM
- Co-operate with EE, ME, Mag to finish design checklists after new version PCB layout done
- Take lead of PCB related DFM issue, collaborate with function team to drive issue closure
- Documentation and report
- Engineer change requirement check
- PCB layout change report
- CAD checklist, MVR and Valor report
- Design support
- BOM maintenance
- Works with PM, support teams and factory to ensure smooth development
- Sustaining project support
- Others
- New component PCB block building by AEI standard
- Safety knowledge
- Low noise layout knowledge
- Knowledge of industry standard practices such as IPC-2221 and IPC-A-600F etc.
- Ensure team members are aware of impending risks to cost, quality & schedule

Review factory DFM report and close out design related issues to attain passing rating
- PCB Layout program such as Cadence, CAM350, etc.
- Linear Circuitry

- Dimension limitation design
