Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer with a strong background in Power Electronics to lead the development of advanced high-power electronic systems, from concept through mass production.

You will play a key technical role in the architecture, design, validation, and certification of cutting-edge wireless power transfer systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams including firmware, algorithms, mechanics, system engineering, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of high-power electronic systems, including DC-DC converters, high-frequency inverters, and analog front-end circuits.
  • Design robust analog sensing circuits for voltage, current, temperature, and protection mechanisms in electrically noisy environments.
  • Own PCB hardware development from architecture through schematic capture, layout review, bring-up, validation, and production release.
  • Guide PCB layout for high-current, high-voltage, and high-frequency designs, ensuring optimal EMI/EMC performance, thermal behavior, manufacturability, and reliability.
  • Lead board bring-up, debugging, system integration, and root-cause analysis using advanced laboratory equipment.
  • Develop and execute hardware validation plans and support end-to-end system verification.
  • Collaborate closely with embedded software, system engineers, and mechanical engineers to optimize overall system performance.
  • Support product certification activities (EMC, Safety, Regulatory) and drive hardware modifications as required.
  • Drive the transition from prototype to high-volume manufacturing, including DFM, DFT, and production support.
  • Maintain deep technical ownership of CaPow's hardware platforms, field deployments, and future product roadmap.
Requirements
  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 7+ years of experience in electronic hardware development, system integration, and testing.
  • Extensive experience in Power Electronics , including design of:
  • DC-DC converters
  • High-frequency inverters
  • High-current and high-voltage power stagesStrong analog design experience, particularly precision sensing and control circuits.
  • Deep understanding of PCB design for power electronics, including layout considerations for EMI, thermal management, creepage/clearance, and high-current routing.
  • Proven experience bringing complex hardware products from prototype to mass production.
  • Extensive laboratory experience including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers, and debugging complex hardware systems.
  • Experience with communication interfaces including I²C, SPI, UART, CAN, and RS-485.
  • Familiarity with EMC design practices and regulatory certification processes.
  • Strong system-level thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and multidisciplinary collaboration skill
