Qubist Solutions is looking for an experienced Embedded Hardware Engineer (Mid to Lead Level) to join our innovative team. If you have a strong background in avionics and electronics design, and are ready to take hardware from concept to production, we want to hear from you!


  • What You Will Do: End-to-End Design: Drive the hardware design process from initial concept through to production, ensuring strict compliance with all project requirements.
  • Engineering Excellence: Oversee the creation and review of schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with software, firmware, and mechanical design teams to ensure flawless system integration.
  • Project Leadership: Identify and mitigate technical risks to deliver hardware projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Team Mentorship: Lead, guide, and mentor a team of hardware engineers, fostering a collaborative environment built on knowledge sharing and continuous innovation.


  • Core Technical Capabilities: FPGA & Zynq Architecture (Mandatory): Extensive, hands-on expertise in FPGA design and development, specifically working with Xilinx Zynq SoCs.
  • Circuit Design: Hands-on experience with Analog, Digital, and Mixed-Signal circuit design and development.
  • Digital Electronics: Expertise with Microcontrollers, Discrete & Analog I/O, SOC/SOM/ASICs, and RF.
  • Tools & Simulation: Proficiency in ORCAD (schematic entry/layout review) and Analog Circuit Simulation.
  • Communication Protocols: SPI, UART, I2C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and Ethernet.
  • System Integrity: Deep understanding of reliability, signal integrity, thermal management, and hardware simulations.
  • Test & Diagnostics: Skilled with standard measuring instruments and possessing excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Avionics Specifics: Experience with display-related development for avionics applications.
  • Process Knowledge: Familiarity with Electronic Hardware Design Processes, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), supplier management, and hardware-software integration.


  • Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points) Strong domain knowledge in Defense, Industrial, or allied sectors.
  • Capabilities in Solution / System Engineering.
  • Experience in Embedded Firmware and Software Development.
  • Familiarity with environmental and EMI/EMC standards: MIL-STD-810, JSS 55555, MIL-STD-461, CE, and FCC.


  • Experience Requirements: 3 to 15 years of proven experience in Electronics Engineering Design & Development, specifically executing projects within the Avionics and Defense sectors.
