Apple's Incubation team is seeking a skilled senior firmware engineer to breathe life into high performance custom hardware systems that are essential to delivering future products u0026 features to Apple’s Customers. nnThis role offers a unique opportunity to impact Apple’s current and future product lines by delivering firmware and software that enables cross functional teams to explore and develop computer vision, depth, imaging sensors, and system architectures. Minimum Qualifications

BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 8 years relevant industry experiencenProven track record of developing embedded system and hardware from concept to productionnStrong C, C++, Python programing design skillsnAbility to read and understand data sheets, schematics, and PCB layouts nExperience working with hardware, interfacing with drivers and low-level codenAbility to quickly pick up and own new concepts, rapid prototyping and to contribute with innovative solutionsnExcellent debugging, optimization, problem solving, hands on experience with HW test equipment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Swift, Xcode, macOS, RTOS development is a plusnFamiliarity with Microchip, ARM, RISC-V, STMicro, Microblaze, FPGA (Xilinx, Lattice) architecturenMS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (or related field) with over 8 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.u003cbru003eu003cbru003eApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
