Our client is a globally recognized technology and manufacturing organization seeking an experienced
Senior System Firmware Engineer
to join its engineering team. The role focuses on the development of embedded firmware and software solutions for advanced power conversion products, working closely with hardware, manufacturing, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain embedded firmware for next-generation power conversion and control systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product requirements, specifications, and development strategies.

Develop and implement communication protocols and networking solutions, including wired and wireless interfaces.

Support system integration, validation testing, and interoperability verification across hardware and software platforms.

Participate throughout the full product lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, documentation, qualification, and product release.

Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers.

Support manufacturing, prototype builds, product qualification, and production issue resolution.

Conduct code reviews, risk assessments, and software quality activities to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.

Work closely with global engineering teams to support product development and deployment activities.
Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

5+ years of experience in embedded firmware or software development.

Strong programming experience in embedded systems, microcontrollers, and DSP-based applications.

Hands-on experience with Microchip, TI, or ST microcontrollers.

Experience developing communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS-485, PMBus, Modbus, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.

Familiarity with RTOS environments, IoT technologies, networking stacks, and software development tools.

Ability to read hardware schematics, troubleshoot embedded systems, and utilize laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers.

Knowledge of power electronics, digital control systems, or power supply design would be highly advantageous.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with experience resolving complex field and production issues.
