What You Will Be Doing
- Perform investigative debug work involving customer platforms, software simulators, and internal platforms
- Assist the Application Engineering group with customer issues, and integrating and porting our drivers to new SoCs.
- Develop expertise in one or more key areas of the driver, implementing the forward looking driver feature roadmap
- Form part of the team of engineers that drive the software release cycle to completion at regular intervals

You Are a Good Match If You Have
- Well-honed C programming skills
- A solid understanding of the difference between user-mode and kernel-mode programming
- Developed software for Linux platforms in the past
- An understanding of computer system architectures
- An understanding of writing code that runs in kernel mode
- The ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team
- The ability to understand and communicate complex ideas

Confidence in your own abilities
- A good understanding of Android or other OS’s
- Experience or understanding of working within an Agile methodology
- Some bare metal programming experience
- Some scripting experience (Shell, Python)
