Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated Senior Robotics Software Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong background in mobile robotics and embedded software development to join our team in building exciting robotics systems. Tasks

  • Developing ROS 2 applications for control and navigation

  • Porting Jetson Linux to custom hardware

  • Sensor integration and ROS 2 driver development

  • Refining and optimizing control algorithms for our unmanned vessels

  • Testing and evaluating software on our robotic test platforms

  • Troubleshooting issues during lab and field tests

  • Developing embedded C software


Requirements

  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in robotics software development

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields

  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python

  • Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS 2

  • Experience with Embedded Linux and Device Driver development

  • Deep understanding of robotic systems architecture, including sensors, actuators, embedded computing platforms, and real-time system constraints

  • Experience with Nvidia Jetson Hardware and JetPack is advantageous

  • Experience with Micro-ROS is advantageous

  • Ability to work proactively and independently, with a structured approach

  • Good documentation and communication skills in English

  • A strong portfolio of personal projects is highly regarded
