Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior PCB Layout Engineer with strong expertise in Altium Designer, multilayer PCB design, and RF/mixed-signal applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing complex PCB layouts while ensuring manufacturability, performance, and compliance with engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize complex multilayer PCB layouts, including 8-layer board designs.

Collaborate with hardware, RF, and systems engineers to integrate mixed-signal and RF circuitry into PCB designs.

Perform PCB floor planning, component placement, routing, and layout optimization.

Generate manufacturing deliverables, including Gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and complete PCB documentation.

Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Ensure compliance with design rules, signal integrity, and manufacturing requirements.

Support PCB integration, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

Work closely with manufacturing partners and vendors to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) best practices.

Conduct design reviews and Design Rule Checks (DRC) to ensure quality and compliance.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Strong experience in PCB layout and design.

Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer.

Hands-on experience with multilayer PCB designs (8-layer or higher preferred).

Experience with RF PCB layout techniques and RF power amplifier/pallet designs.

Strong understanding of mixed-signal PCB design principles.

Experience creating manufacturing drawings and electronic documentation.

Knowledge of PCB fabrication and assembly processes.

Familiarity with DFM, DFA, and industry-standard PCB design practices.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or high-reliability electronics environments.

Knowledge of signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and high-speed PCB design.

Experience supporting PCB prototypes through production release.
