Design mechanical aspects for station-side infrastructure, including cart docking and robot handoff workflows.
Translate operational requirements into production-ready mechanical designs suitable for high-volume logistics operations.
Own the end-to-end mechanical design process, from concept and prototyping through validation and production.
Ensure mechanical solutions meet stringent safety, ergonomic, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, firmware, robotics, and vehicle engineering for seamless integration.
What You'll Need
Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
Proven expertise in mechanical design, with a focus on robustness, cost, and manufacturability.
Ability to balance competing requirements in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment.
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
Strong understanding of integrating mechanical systems within vehicle and/or robotic applications.
Experience with aspects of product development lifecycle including DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and environmental testing.
