About This Role

We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex hardware design projects while mentoring our growing engineering team. You'll architect electrical systems, make key technical decisions, and set engineering standards — all while working alongside some of the best firmware engineers in the industry.

Your work will drive hardware innovation while ensuring our products meet the demanding requirements of major technology companies.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, implement, and verify analog and digital circuits and subsystems for embedded systems using industry-standard tools
• Select key vendors and components based on performance, cost, schedule, and risk profile relevant to the success of each project
• Create symbols, footprints, libraries and other digital assets necessary for schematic capture and PCB layout in Altium Designer
• Collaborate closely with firmware engineers on hardware-software integration
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting
• Work with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are production-ready
• Validate designs through comprehensive testing and measurement
• Document technical specifications, design rationale, and test procedures
• Contribute to technical planning and project milestone achievement

Requirements

• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in complex electronics design
• Expert-level analog and digital circuit design skills
• Advanced ability to create, read, and analyze complex electronic schematics
• Advanced PCB design experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout (heavily proficient)
• Deep understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC design principles
• Experience with high-speed digital design, communications interfaces, and system integration
• Strong background in hands-on bring-up and debugging
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM, and production considerations
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical projects
• Comfortable level of English communication skills for international collaboration
• Strong project management skills and ability to drive technical schedules
• Availability of at least 30 hours per week
• Must be based in Brazil

Preferred

• Experience with digital communication protocols
• Experience with Python scripting for testing and automation
• Familiarity with version control best practices using Git
• Background in precision analog design and instrumentation
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards relevant to consumer electronics with wireless communications
• Experience with advanced simulation tools and design automation
• Familiarity with power supply design and power management systems
• Track record of successful product launches from concept to production
