Firmware Development:
Design, code, and debug low-level embedded software and firmware, primarily in
C/C++
, targeted at microcontrollers and microprocessors.
RTOS Implementation:
Architect and implement real-time multi-threaded applications utilizing
FreeRTOS
(including task scheduling, IPC, queues, and semaphores).
Hardware Bring-up & Drivers:
Lead board bring-up activities and develop low-level drivers for hardware peripherals and communication interfaces.
System Architecture:
Collaborate on defining communication protocols between embedded edge devices and our cloud/SaaS backend systems.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize code for memory-constrained and power-constrained environments while maintaining strict defense-grade reliability.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
(EE) –

Experience:
5+ years
of hands-on experience in Embedded Software / Firmware development.
RTOS Expert:
Proven, deep experience developing and deploying commercial products on
FreeRTOS
(or similar real-time operating systems).
Language Mastery:
Expert-level proficiency in
C
and
C++
for embedded systems.
Hardware Protocols:
Strong experience with low-level communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN-bus, USB, or Ethernet.
Debugging Skills:
Hands-on experience debugging embedded hardware using JTAG, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and GDB.
Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain/maintain a high-level defense security clearance.
