Most software eventually runs on someone else's infrastructure.This runs on a drone, in the dark, with no GPS.

This is a deep-tech start-up. One that has already acquired early in their existence to maximise impact in their domain. They build AI-powered positioning technology for autonomous systems that operate where GPS cannot be trusted. The software they ship runs in real time, on constrained ARM hardware, in conditions where failure isn't an option.

What the role involves

• Real-time C++ on ARM - Navigation software - Flight controller integration Camera & sensor pipelines - CI/CD & build systems - SDK packaging & deployment

What you'll need

• Expert-level C++
• Embedded software & ARM platforms
• Python

Good to have

• Eigen / Ceres / GTSAM / OpenCV
• Embedded camera systems
• UAVs / aviation domain knowledge

This is a senior role. You'll be coming in to make an impact from day one, not to find your feet.

The team is small, the problems are real, and the code you write will end up in thefield.

Most embedded roles want someone to maintain existing systems. This one wants someone who can push them further - and isn't afraid of the constraints that come with edge deployment on autonomous platforms.
