Senior Embedded Software Engineer

I'm recruiting for a growing tech business in Cheltenham who are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the team.

The company design ruggedized electromechanical products used in harsh environments across the globe.

The position involves writing/maintaining mostly low-level embedded code, working directly with the hardware. It's a mix of bare-metal and RTOS environments, requires a good knowledge of the HW/SW interface.

ROLE: Senior Embedded Software Engineer

LOCATION: Cheltenham

SALARY: up to £80,000 (+ benefits)

Skills required for the Embedded Software Engineer are:

• ARM/STM microcontroller development in C
• Solid hardware understanding
• Bare-metal and RTOS (any) experience
• Comms protocols (UART/I2C/SPI/LoRa/GPS)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Beneficial skills:

• Design for harsh environments / ruggedized electronics
• Experienced and comortable leading projects or teams

This is 100% on-site in Cheltenham due to the nature of the work.
