About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Embedded Security Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and optimization of security software for advanced embedded platforms. You will play a key role in enabling secure Wi-Fi connectivity, Secure Boot, and next-generation embedded security frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams on innovative chipset solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, integrate, maintain, and optimize WPA Supplicant for embedded platforms.
  • Port and enhance embedded security software across RTOS and Zephyr OS environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Secure Boot and bootloader security features.
  • Develop and integrate WLAN security solutions supporting WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X, EAP, and SAE authentication protocols.
  • Analyze, debug, and resolve embedded security, connectivity, and platform integration issues.
  • Collaborate with firmware, driver, platform, and validation teams during new chipset bring-up and product development.
  • Support security feature implementation across multiple embedded product lines.
  • Participate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–8 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.
  • Strong programming expertise in C .
  • Hands-on experience with RTOS-based embedded systems .
  • Working knowledge of Zephyr OS .
  • Experience in WPA Supplicant development, integration, porting, or maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • WLAN Security (WPA/WPA2/WPA3)
  • IEEE 802.1X Authentication
  • EAP and SAE protocols
  • Secure Boot and Bootloader architecture
  • Authentication, Encryption, Key Management, and Secure Firmware Loading
  • Experience in embedded platform bring-up and system debugging.
  • Proficiency with debugging tools including GDB, JTAG, Logic Analyzers , and similar embedded debugging tools.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience or exposure in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

  • Bluetooth Security
  • TLS, Digital Certificates, Secure Storage, and Key Provisioning
  • Cryptographic Algorithms and Security Libraries
  • Cybersecurity Compliance (CRA, Product Security Standards)
  • Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)
  • Wi-Fi Driver, Firmware, and Host Interface Integration
  • New Chipset Bring-up and Firmware Security Enablement
Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:

  • Computer Science
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Embedded Systems
  • Or an equivalent engineering discipline
