Job Description

Hiring: Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer

Experience: 10 Years

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer with strong experience in Embedded C/C++ and RTOS-based firmware development for embedded/IoT products.

Mandatory Skills

Proficient in Embedded C and Modern C++ (C++17/20) for resource-constrained embedded systems
Hands-on experience developing firmware for FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or ARM RTX
Proven track record in production-grade embedded firmware development (not testing/validation)
Experience designing and implementing device drivers, HALs, and BSPs for microcontrollers
Working knowledge of Embedded Linux (Yocto or Buildroot) is required for integration tasks
Familiarity with communication protocols: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, TCP/IP, MQTT, BLE, and Wi-Fi
Expertise in debugging using JTAG, GDB, Logic Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and industry-standard embedded development tools

Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug, and optimize production-grade embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems.
Develop low-level drivers, RTOS-based applications, and hardware abstraction layers (HALs).
Collaborate closely with hardware engineers during board bring-up, validation, and product development cycles.
Diagnose and resolve complex firmware issues to ensure robust, reliable, and secure embedded solutions.

Required Experience

9+ years of hands-on firmware development experience in embedded systems.
Strong conceptual understanding of RTOS internals, including task management, inter-task communication, synchronization primitives (queues, semaphores, mutexes), interrupt handling, and memory management.
Full lifecycle experience in end-to-end embedded product development, from concept to deployment.

Note: Candidates with primarily Testing, Validation, QA, Maintenance, or Project Management experience without direct, hands-on firmware development will not be considered.
