Senior Embedded C++ Engineer - Advanced Audio Electronics

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Embedded C++ Engineer to lead the development of embedded software for our industry-leading audio electronics portfolio. In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex technical challenges and drive innovation. Your expertise in modern C++ (C++16 or later), microcontroller platforms, and audio systems will be pivotal in shaping our next-generation products.

Key responsibilities:

• Work on the new generation of our award-winning audio products
• Design and implement embedded systems
• Work with hardware team to bring up new boards
• Create API for massive parallel DSP in the FPGA
• Support and develop Internet live-update technology
• Code for latest USB and Thunderbolt interfaces
• Implement new signal processing functionality
• Utilize modern fast ARM processors and their device libraries

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, preferably in the audio domain
• Expert-level proficiency in C++ (C++16 or later) with a deep understanding of modern programming principles
• Strong knowledge of real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, Embedded Linux), multithreading, and low-level programming
• Experience working with microcontrollers (e.g., NXP and STM ARM processors)
• In-depth knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, and Ethernet
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) and audio processing pipelines
• Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG
• Interpret and work with electronics schematics, ensuring tight hardware-software collaboration
