Role Description The Senior Electronics Engineer will lead the design, development, and integration of electronic systems for advanced UAV hybrid propulsion platforms. This full-time, on-site role in Rehovot includes designing and reviewing schematics, selecting components, and overseeing PCB design and layout in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Daily responsibilities involve building and testing prototypes, conducting lab and field tests, analyzing performance data, and troubleshooting complex electronic and electrical issues. The engineer will also define specifications, ensure compliance with relevant standards, support manufacturing and production transfer, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members. Close collaboration with mechanical, software, and systems engineers will be required to optimize reliability, safety, and overall system performance.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with hands-on experience in complex embedded systems.
• Proficiency in Circuit Design and electronics architecture, including schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection.
• Solid practical experience with Electronics and hardware integration in demanding environments, preferably aerospace or defense.
• Demonstrated ability in Testing, validation, and troubleshooting, including lab measurements, test plans, and root-cause analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a closely related field.
• Experience with power electronics, motor control, and battery management systems is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with relevant standards and safety practices for UAV or aviation-related systems is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced R&D and production environment in Rehovot.
