The Role

We are hiring a Senior/Staff Digital IC Design Engineer to develop new IPs and integrate third-party IPs based on project-specific SoC requirements. The role involves full ownership of the assigned blocks, working closely with cross-functional teams throughout the chip development cycle, from RTL to chip-level validation.

What the role will involve:

• RTL design and coding of assigned blocks from scratch
• Integration and verification of both in-house and third-party IPs at block and SoC levels
• Close collaboration with the hardware system architect, particularly during the chip definition phase
• Support for the Front-End (Synthesis), Back-End (Place-and-Route), and DfT (Design-for-Testability) teams throughout the chip development cycle
• Support for the software engineering teams before tape-out and during post-silicon bring-up and validation
• Contribution to the company’s IC design flow automation supporting Simulation, Synthesis, Logical Equivalence Checking (LEC), Linting, and Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) analysis

What is required for this role:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of industry experience as a Digital IC Design Engineer
• Strong RTL design and coding skills, preferably using Verilog and SystemVerilog
• Competency in AMBA system bus protocols (AHB, AXI, APB)
• Experience with SoC-level simulation of CPU-based systems using embedded C
• Good understanding of the complete digital IC design flow, from RTL development to sign-off
• Experience with Synthesis, Power Intent (UPF), and Logical Equivalence Checking (LEC) would be desirable
• Familiarity with Tcl and Shell Scripting in Linux-based environments would be an advantage
