Job Description

Company Description Transmille Ltd is a specialist manufacturer of electrical calibration equipment and calibration software for professional calibration laboratories. The company supports customers with high-precision instruments designed for reliable and repeatable measurement performance. In addition to its manufacturing capabilities, Transmille operates an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and compliance with international standards. Team members work closely with customers in regulated environments, contributing directly to the accuracy and integrity of their measurement processes. This blend of product development and accredited calibration services offers a technically challenging and rewarding environment for engineering professionals.

Role Description The Senior Analog Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Staplehurst, focused on developing high-precision analog circuitry for electrical calibration instruments. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, simulating, and validating analog circuits and power management solutions, as well as optimizing performance, stability, and noise characteristics. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, review designs, support prototype builds, and participate in troubleshooting and design improvements. The engineer will create and maintain design documentation, contribute to design-for-manufacture and test strategies, and assist with product lifecycle support, including sustaining engineering and enhancements. This position requires a hands-on approach in the lab, using test equipment to verify designs and support the accredited calibration activities of the company.
