What You'll Be Doing
- Drive timing analysis and closure of Nvidia’s GPUs, CPUs, DPUs and SoCs at block level, cluster level, and/or full chip level.
- Work with PD, DFX, Clocks, and other teams in coming up with timing closure strategy, creating timing constraints, driving timing and power convergence, as well as ECO implementation

Apply knowledge and experience to improve timing convergence flows working with the methodology teams.
- BS (or equivalent experience) in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5 years experience or MS (or equivalent experience) with 2 years experience in Timing and STA
- Hands-on experience in full-chip/sub-chip Static Timing Analysis (STA) and timing convergence, timing constraints generation and management.
- Expertise in analysis and fixing of timing paths through ECOs including crosstalk and noise analysis.
- Expertise and in-depth knowledge of industry standard STA and timing convergence tools.

Knowledge of deep sub-micron process nodes and hands-on experience in modeling and converging timing in these nodes.
- Background in domain specific STA and timing convergence, such as GPUs, CPUs, DPUs/Network processors, or SOCs
- Understanding of DFT logic and experience with DFT timing closure for various modes e.g., scan, BIST, etc.
- Understanding and timing closure of digital logic/macros in AMS designs/IPs.

Experience in methodology and/or flow development as well as automation.
The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 264,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

Senior Embedded Software Engineer

What we're looking for
At embedd.it, we power hardware-software integration in embedded devices. We turn fragmented semiconductor chip data into configurable digital twins, then deterministically generate code, tests, and documentation – making integration faster, cheaper, and resilient to supply chain shocks.
We’re looking for a true legend – someone with abstract thinking and deep expertise in low-level software development. You’ll build vendor-agnostic tooling for MCU and peripheral integration to solve hardware-software integration once and for all. We work at the intersection of embedded systems, code generation, compilers, and machine learning. It’s your chance to help redefine how low-level development is done.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecture of the driver structures and system layout
- Define scalable patterns for cross-architectural integration across bare-metal, Zephyr, Linux, and other environments
- Deconstruct complex SoC device trees and translate hardware descriptions into structured internal models for automated reasoning
- Partner with the ML team to shape data and annotation models for AI-driven data-extraction tooling
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development, including bare-metal and RTOS-based systems
- Proficiency in C/C++
- Familiarity with firmware configuration, SoC bring-up, and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience with code generation tools, or low-level compiler/decompiler/emulator technologies
- Strong background in embedded toolchains: compilers, linkers, debuggers, and build systems
- Python or scripting for automation and tooling is a plus
- Experience with functional-safety standards is a plus
