Role – Robotics Software Intern (Mobility)

We are looking for a Robotics Software Intern (Mobility) to work on the mobility stack of our wheeled mobile robotic platforms . This role focuses on perception, localization, planning, and control for robots operating in structured industrial and warehouse environments.

You will work closely with the robotics team to improve system performance in real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize and improve the existing SLAM pipeline for wheeled mobile robots
  • Enhance and tune control algorithms for robust robot motion
  • Develop and test marker-based Visual SLAM components
  • Develop and evaluate navigation algorithms for warehouse and industrial environments
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate perception, planning, and control modules

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a B.Tech/B.E. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Strong academic foundation in robotics, control systems, algorithms, and linear algebra.

Other Information:

  • Expected Skills: Python, C++, ROS 2, Fundamentals of planning and control in mobile robots.
  • Duration: 3-6 Months
