Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Communicate Practice Vision: Architect the overarching strategy and define success metrics that guide the Embodied AI practice’s growth, ensuring alignment with Wipro’s innovation goals.
• Strategic Portfolio Management: Evaluate and prioritize technology initiatives and projects based on potential impact, feasibility, and customer alignment to maximize outcomes.
• Innovation Leadership: Spearhead the design and deployment of advanced simulation pipelines and digital twin technologies to enhance AI-robotic integrations. Lead initiatives that co-train AI models alongside robotic systems, harnessing real-world data to continuously improve performance.
• Customer Partnership and Solution Delivery: Collaborate deeply with clients to understand unique challenges and ideate solutions, particularly focusing on automation and collaborative robotics opportunities within diverse industry verticals.
• Business Development Support: Actively contribute to go-to-market strategies, lead nuanced solution demonstrations, and manage proof-of-value engagements that convert technical innovation into business wins.
• Team Building and Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performing team by mentoring professionals across AI, robotics, and simulation disciplines, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented culture.
• Strengthen Strategic Alliances: Build and nurture partnerships with OEMs, academic research institutions, leading hyper scalers, and other ecosystem collaborators to accelerate technology adoption and solution delivery.

In this role, you will be central to nurturing a practice that not only innovates but also creates measurable impact, ensuring Wipro remains at the forefront of Embodied AI development.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Comprehensive expertise in AI/ML technologies, robotics platforms, and simulation environments including but not limited to Isaac Sim, ROS2, Gazebo, or Unity ML-Agents.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering AI-driven robotic automation initiatives, demonstrating ability to manage both technical complexity and business impact.
• Robust strategic thinking capabilities to balance innovation ambitions with pragmatic delivery schedules and resource constraints.
• Extensive experience engaging with clients to co-create solutions and drive business growth through technology-led innovation.
• Exceptional leadership qualities coupled with strong storytelling skills to effectively engage stakeholders across various levels within and outside the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to build and motivate diverse, cross-functional teams in fast-paced, rapidly evolving technological environments.

Familiarity with emerging trends in robotics, AI ethics, safety considerations, and regulatory frameworks will also contribute significantly to success in this role.

Preferred Educational and Professional Background:

• Advanced degrees such as Master’s or Ph.D. in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or closely related disciplines which provide a strong foundation in relevant theories and methodologies.
• Professional background that includes experience in consulting, strategic product innovation, or leading enterprise-scale AI solution delivery projects.
• Experience working within innovation centers or similar highly dynamic environments where rapid prototyping and agile iteration are standard practices.
• A history of contributing to academic publications, patents, or industry standards in the robotics or AI domains is considered a significant advantage.
