Job Description

该职位来源于猎聘 Job Overview As part of the engineering team of Qualcomm China, mainly focusing on robotics platforms including AMR, ARM and humanoid robots, we are looking for talents who will be responsible not only for robotics development on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, but also for leading technical teams, driving technical execution, and delivering robotics solutions at scale. The work scope includes but not limit to:

  • Lead and mentor a robotics software engineering team, including task breakdown, technical direction alignment, and code quality review.
  • Drive technical design and architecture discussions for robotics systems, balancing performance, scalability, and product requirements.
  • Own project execution from technical perspective, including planning, risk identification, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Collaborate with product management, hardware teams, and global engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of robotics platforms and features.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and technical growth of team members.
  • Qualcomm robotic reference platform development.
  • Robotics general sensor technology or driver development like 3D LiDAR, depth sensor.
  • Robotics general sensor algorithm development like LIO, 3D LiDAR mapping.
  • Robotics path planning and navigation algorithm development like Hybrid A*, DWA.
  • Robotics motion control algorithm development like gait planning, MPC, WBC.
  • Robotic fundamental feature design and development like motor control, base control.
  • Co-work with global teams to identify issues and fix bugs. Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in technical leadership, including guiding junior engineers, reviewing designs/code, and making technical trade-offs.
  • Ability to break down complex robotics problems into executable technical tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts across teams and with global stakeholders.
  • Familiar RTOS/ROS/ROS2.
  • Familiar Linux driver development
  • Familiar one of the path-planning and navigation methods.
  • Familiar one of the control methods like motor control, robot dynamics and control, robot kinematics, MPC, WBC, etc.
  • Good at mathematics.
  • Good sense of responsibility and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading a small to mid-sized technical team (e.g. 3–10 engineers) in robotics or related system software domains.
  • Experience acting as a technical owner or tech lead for robotics platforms, modules, or end-to-end features.
  • Prior experience in cross-site or global collaboration is a plus.
  • Good C/C++/Python language skill.
  • Familiar Humanoid robot software and algorithm development is a plus.
  • Familiar AMR path planning and navigation algorithms is a plus.
  • Familiar computer vision is a plus.
  • Experience on four-wheel-based robot Humanoid robot product is a plus. Education Requirements

Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering with 12+ years’ experiences. Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Control Engineering with 10+ years’ experiences.
