Job Description

Position: Robotics Field Engineer (Vietnam)

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract)

Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and collect technical requirements prior to robot deployment.
Deploy AMR solutions at customer sites (including setup, mapping, and commissioning).
Troubleshoot technical issues related to SW and HW
Configure network settings and define operational scenarios.
Support basic integrations with PLC, conveyors, auto-doors, and MES/API systems.
Collect system logs and collaborate with HQ engineering for advanced problem-solving.
Communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth Proof of Concept (PoC) and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

Required
Experience: 3+ years in robotics, automation, or manufacturing equipment.
Skills: Proven track record in field troubleshooting and technical problem-solving.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Linux environments and networking protocols.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam.
Language: Proficiency in English (working-level) for reporting and communication.
Preferred
Prior experience with AMR/AGV systems.
Knowledge of PLC / I/O logic and industrial automation.
Hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
Background in factory automation environments.

Independence: Ability to stabilize robot operations on-site without constant supervision.
Analytical Thinking: Identifying root causes rather than applying temporary "band-aid" fixes.
Effective Liaison: Acting as a professional bridge between customer requirements and HQ’s technical capabilities.
