Job Description

Robotics Jobs Brazil (Remote) — Rex.zone

This is a fully remote, full-time robotics engineering role aligned with Brazil-focused search intent, while the position is listed with Country set to US for platform/category purposes. You will build and maintain autonomy software for real robots, collaborating with global teams across time zones as needed.

About The Role

You will deliver core autonomy components including perception and sensor fusion, SLAM/localization, motion planning, controls, and simulation-to-real validation. You will translate product requirements into reliable robot behaviors and improve robot performance through iterative testing in simulation and on hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop autonomy features using ROS/ROS2 nodes, messages, services, and actions
  • Build perception pipelines (detection, tracking, depth/point clouds) and sensor fusion
  • Implement SLAM, localization, and mapping strategies for real-world environments
  • Create and tune motion planning and control loops for navigation/manipulation
  • Build simulation-first workflows (Gazebo/related) and validate sim-to-real transfer
  • Optimize runtime performance, reliability, and safety constraints on Linux targets
  • Define interfaces across drivers, autonomy stack, and cloud/telemetry services
  • Improve quality with CI/CD, tests, reproducible builds, and clear documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-Senior experience building production robotics or autonomy software
  • Strong C++ and Python development on Linux
  • Practical ROS/ROS2 experience and debugging distributed robotic systems
  • Understanding of state estimation, coordinate frames, and control basics
  • Hands-on experience with cameras/IMU/LiDAR and calibration concepts
  • Experience in SLAM/localization, motion planning, and/or perception

How To Apply

Apply via Rex.zone with your resume and a brief summary of robotics projects. Include GitHub/publications/demos where available and highlight production debugging and remote collaboration experience.
