Job Description

Robotics Jobs Lima (Remote, US)

Join Rex.zone to build end-to-end robotics and autonomy systems, from perception and SLAM to motion planning, controls, and deployment. You will also partner with AI/ML training workflows (data labeling, QA evaluation, prompt evaluation) to improve training data quality and autonomy safety.

What You Will Do

  • Design and ship autonomy features across perception, localization, mapping (SLAM), planning, and control loops
  • Build and maintain robotics software stacks using ROS2, middleware, and sensor drivers
  • Integrate sensors (RGB-D, LiDAR, IMU, GPS) and implement sensor fusion pipelines
  • Develop computer vision and perception pipelines; drive data collection, labeling specs, and annotation guidelines compliance
  • Run QA evaluation and regression testing in simulation (Gazebo) and on-robot hardware; perform failure mode analysis
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy updates, monitor telemetry, and iterate on safety and performance

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-senior experience building production robotics/autonomy systems
  • Strong C++ and Python skills (profiling, debugging, performance)
  • Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, controls, estimation, and motion planning
  • Experience with perception, computer vision, sensor fusion and/or SLAM
  • Familiarity with ROS2, CI/CD, simulation workflows, and hardware-in-the-loop testing

Preferred

  • Manipulation or mobile navigation experience
  • Exposure to RLHF or LLM evaluation for robot copilots/task planners
  • Embedded deployment and inference optimization (e.g., TensorRT / ONNX Runtime)

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay: $30–$50/hr (based on scope and experience).
