Job Description

Robotics Jobs Paraguay (Remote) — Robotics Engineer

Rex.zone is hiring a Mid-Senior Robotics Engineer to design, integrate, and validate robotic capabilities across perception, localization, planning, and control. This is a distributed, simulation-first role emphasizing reliability, safety, and measurable performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own robotics feature development from requirements to deployment, monitoring, and reliability improvements
  • Build perception pipelines (camera/LiDAR/IMU), calibration, synchronization, and sensor fusion
  • Develop and tune SLAM/localization, mapping, motion planning, and robot control with clear metrics
  • Integrate modules using ROS2 (topics, services, actions, TF frames) and maintain interfaces
  • Create simulation scenarios (e.g., Gazebo) and automated test harnesses/regression suites
  • Perform log analysis, root-cause investigations, and document runbooks/architectures

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-Senior experience in robotics/autonomous systems engineering
  • Strong Python and C++ proficiency; comfort with real-time/near-real-time constraints
  • Hands-on ROS/ROS2 development, debugging, and system-level problem solving
  • Understanding of SLAM, state estimation, and sensor fusion (e.g., EKF/UKF concepts)
  • Experience with simulation and CI-driven testing workflows for robotics

Preferred

  • Gazebo/Isaac Sim/Webots experience
  • Computer vision for robotics and sensor calibration
  • Embedded Linux and hardware bring-up exposure

How To Apply

Apply via Rex.zone and include relevant ROS2 packages, simulation scenarios, planning/control work, and links to repositories or technical write-ups.
