Job Description

Now hiring: Robotics Engineers (Controls, Electrical, Mechanical & AI)

New York City or San Francisco | On-site | Full-time

I'm partnering with one of the most exciting humanoid robotics companies in the US on a full slate of engineering hires. This is a rare one: their robots aren't demos. They're already running paid shifts at real customers with profitable unit economics, built by a team out of Boston Dynamics and Tesla, and backed by top-tier VCs.

Most humanoid companies have impressive videos. This one ships. They're solving the two problems that actually gate general-purpose robots: making them fast enough to be economical, and reliable enough to trust on a real customer floor.

They're hiring across the board:

  • Controls Engineers — own the motion stack, from motor control through whole-body dynamics (MPC, trajectory optimization, real-time C++)
  • Electrical Engineers — own the electrical architecture: motor controllers, on-robot comms, camera pipelines
  • Mechanical Engineers — design the actuators, mechanisms, and end-effectors that make the robot move
  • AI Research Engineers — build the learned policies that take manipulation from demo-grade to deployment-grade

What they're looking for: people who've shipped real hardware that leaves the lab, who want high ownership on a small team, and who are energized by hard problems. Backgrounds from Boston Dynamics, Tesla, Anduril, Skydio, Zipline, Apptronik, Figure, ASML and similar are a strong fit, but a killer personal project speaks just as loud.
