Job Description
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation and robotics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical design, robotic programming, PLC/HMI development, machine vision integration, and automation system design. This role involves designing, programming, validating, and optimizing robotic workcells while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Design custom automation cells and End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) using SolidWorks.
Perform robot reachability studies, payload analysis, and system feasibility assessments.
Program and optimize 6-axis industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.).
Develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications for automated systems.
Create, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and industrial control systems.
Integrate and calibrate machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and robotic guidance.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety solutions in accordance with ANSI/RIA, ISO 10218, and ISO 13849 standards.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve automation efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills
Strong mechanical design experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Experience with industrial robot programming (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming.
Knowledge of machine vision systems (Cognex/Keyence).
Electrical schematic design and troubleshooting.
Robot reachability analysis, payload calculations, and system validation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
3–5 years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, or manufacturing automation.
