Role Description This full-time, on-site Robotics Engineer role is based in Aurora, IL. The Robotics Engineer will design, develop, and implement robotic systems and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability. Daily responsibilities include creating and testing control algorithms, integrating hardware and software components, and troubleshooting mechanical and software issues in robotic platforms. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, document system architecture, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The Robotics Engineer will also analyze performance data, optimize processes, and support ongoing maintenance and upgrades of deployed systems.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Robotics expertise, including design, integration, and implementation of robotic systems and automation solutions.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Process Automation capabilities to assess system performance, optimize workflows, and improve reliability.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document technical work, and present findings clearly.
  • Candidates should possess Software Development skills, ideally in languages and frameworks commonly used in robotics (such as C/C++, Python, ROS, or similar), for control, simulation, and integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with sensors, actuators, control systems, and industrial automation platforms is highly beneficial.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, simulation environments, and version control systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Aurora, IL, manage multiple projects, and adapt to evolving technical and business requirements.
