Job Description

About The Role

You will design, implement, and validate robotics software and system integrations for production-grade robots and automation cells. This role emphasizes simulation-to-real deployment, safety, reliability, and performance across perception, planning, and control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ROS/ROS2 packages, nodes, and launch configurations
  • Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU, encoders) including calibration and time synchronization
  • Implement/improve localization, mapping, and navigation (SLAM, sensor fusion, costmaps, path planning)
  • Build perception features using computer vision and sensor fusion pipelines
  • Tune controllers (PID/MPC as applicable) for stability, accuracy, and safety
  • Create simulation scenarios (Gazebo/Isaac/other) and run regression tests to reduce sim-to-real gaps
  • Diagnose field issues using logs, rosbags, profiling, and root-cause analysis
  • Improve CI/CD with unit/integration tests and (when available) hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Document architecture, interfaces, and operational playbooks

Required Qualifications

  • Mid-Senior experience delivering robotics or autonomous systems
  • Strong C++ and Python skills with Linux development workflows
  • Hands-on ROS or ROS2 experience in real projects
  • Understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and state estimation
  • Strong debugging skills across software and hardware interfaces

Remote Work & Collaboration

This is a Remote , FULL_TIME role supporting distributed engineering teams. You may coordinate with on-site teams for hardware validation and controlled rollouts.

Compensation shown in this feed: $30–$50 per hour .
