Robotics Engineer (Remote, US) — Robotics Engineer Jobs Recife
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade robotics software for autonomous systems. Work spans perception, sensor fusion, SLAM/localization, motion planning, and control, with simulation-first development, on-robot integration, and field debugging.
What You Will Do
-
Build and maintain ROS2 nodes, interfaces, and message schemas for autonomy pipelines
-
Develop features across perception/tracking, SLAM/localization, trajectory generation, and feedback control
-
Integrate sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, IMU, encoders, and GPS; ensure time sync and TF correctness
-
Create simulation scenarios (e.g., Gazebo/Isaac Sim) and automated regression tests
-
Diagnose field issues via logs/telemetry, perform failure analysis, and harden systems for deployment
Required Qualifications
-
Mid-senior robotics engineering experience shipping autonomy or control systems
-
Strong C++ and Python; Linux development; Git and CI/CD workflows
-
Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience and debugging of complex runtime issues
-
Solid fundamentals in state estimation, sensor fusion, and SLAM
-
Experience with motion planning and control (PID, MPC, or equivalent)
How Success Is Measured
-
Navigation success rate, localization drift, collision/safety metrics, runtime stability, and regression coverage
-
Clear documentation, reproducible experiments, and predictable delivery
How To Apply
Submit your resume and a short portfolio summary of shipped robotics work (ROS2 projects, SLAM/planning/control modules, simulation results). Include links to code, write-ups, or demos where available.
