Robotics Engineer (Mid-Senior) — Remote (US)
Rex.zone connects experienced robotics engineers with full-time remote teams building production autonomous systems. You will work across ROS/ROS2 autonomy stacks, perception, and simulation-to-real validation to ship reliable robot behavior.
What You Will Do

Design and maintain ROS/ROS2 nodes, interfaces, and core robot software architecture

Implement and improve SLAM/localization and navigation/motion planning behaviors

Integrate and calibrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMU) and support hardware bring-up

Build sensor fusion/state estimation pipelines and control-loop reliability improvements

Maintain simulation environments and simulation-to-real workflows with log replay

Create tooling for logging, debugging, field triage, and performance profiling

Write automated tests, CI checks, and documentation for shipped modules
Required Qualifications

Mid-senior experience delivering production robotics software end-to-end

Strong C++ and Python skills in Linux environments

Hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience with debugging and performance tuning

Knowledge of SLAM, localization, navigation, kinematics, and state estimation
Compensation
Hourly base pay range: $30–$50 (USD), depending on fit and scope.
