Real Time Embedded Developer

Real Time Group, LTD is looking for an for an experienced Real Time Embedded Developer to join our Software Infrastructure team developing advanced Real-Time systems for aerospace and defense applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop low-level embedded software and device drivers in C and C++.
• Design, develop, and maintain bootloaders and board initialization software.
• Work with communication interfaces and protocols such as UART, SPI, CAN, and Ethernet.
• Develop software for hard real-time, RTOS-based, and bare-metal environments.
• Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of complex embedded systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience developing embedded and real-time systems.
• Strong hands-on programming experience in C and C++.
• Proven experience developing and integrating Bootloaders.
• Hands-on experience developing software with FreeRTOS .
• Experience developing low-level software, device drivers, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Strong system-level thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with bare-metal development.
• Experience with embedded software development and system integration.
• Experience with hardware-software interfaces and board bring-up.
• Experience writing technical documentation.
