About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team at Applied Materials. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical and electronic assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings that support our advanced manufacturing equipment. Your technical expertise will be critical in performing engineering analysis, generating test reports, developing innovative solutions, and creating comprehensive documentation for product releases. You will coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal equipment performance. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with 7-10 years of relevant industry experience. A strong background in RF systems, electromagnetic theory, and power delivery is essential. Preferred qualifications include an M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics, extensive project management experience, and a proven track record of leading engineering teams. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with the Applied Materials product development life cycle and project management methodologies is highly desirable.
Responsibilities

Run laboratory tests to assess power delivery performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct concept and feasibility studies for potential improvements.

Develop and implement innovative concepts to resolve complex product issues and improve engineering solutions.

Lead or participate in engineering projects, including research and development of new technologies, ensuring timely and successful completion.

Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of complex engineering problems, providing effective solutions.

Perform detailed engineering analysis and specify requirements for complex systems.

Interface with internal and external customers to address high-value electrical issues and resolve customer concerns effectively.

Generate detailed product specifications independently, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

Design, coordinate, and document engineering tests, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project requirements.

Participate in design reviews, validate designs, select appropriate components, and ensure proper grounding and shielding practices.
