RF Engineer - Wireless

This role focuses on R&D and testing, requiring close collaboration with lab teams. It is not a pure testing position.

- We are looking for an experienced SDET that will be able to characterize, analyze and lead initial investigations Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC issues at all levels of the stack.

- The RF experience (WiFi or BT ideally) must enable the candidate to narrow down the scope of the issues found during test pass: identify what is specific about a given issue, validate private fixes for it, etc.

- This is a position that is suitable for candidates with RF, wireless and networking background. Ideally the candidate has experience on both HW and SW integration testing

- Knowledge of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and familiarity with RF debugging tools

- 3+ years of experience in testing or development of wireless platforms

- Strong work ethic

- RF PHY and antenna design or validation experience

- Experience with Kernel Debugging and/or trace analysis for network analysis, (network monitor / Message Analyzer, xPerf, .etl, ETW, …)

- Familiarity with MSFT tools: Azure DevOps, HLK

- Experience with RF tools: attenuators, antennas, RF enclosures, …

- Experience on Interoperability Coexistence Over the Air Testing Rate vs Range

- Power consumption testing and debugging

- Windows Driver development experience and knowledge

- NFC experience

- Debugging and troubleshooting skills, ability to isolate issues in complex scenarios. Ability to deal with ambiguity, and define test plans from variables.

- Experience with device testing on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or RF components (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)

- Experience on embedded devices development

- RF HW and SW integration testing experience

- Annual package (12 months): NT$80,000 – NT$110,000

- In accordance with local requirements, usually based on the full salary.
