RF Engineer - USA

ATDI is seeking an RF Engineer to join our U.S. team, based in our Tysons, Virginia office, just 15 miles west of downtown Washington, DC. This is a highly varied, client-facing role that combines deep RF engineering expertise with strong consulting, presentation, and training skills. Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across the civil and defense sectors.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and expert consulting services.
• Conduct technical studies, including field measurements, radio network planning and coverage studies, and technical reporting.
• Deliver professional training on ATDI software solutions covering radio network planning, spectrum management, and geospatial data management.
• Support clients with geospatial data conversion and management.
• Represent ATDI at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Support pre-sales activities, including preparing technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, and participating in technical sales discussions.
• Develop technical requirements and contribute to product customization.

Technical Qualifications

• Strong expertise in RF engineering and wireless communications systems.
• Solid understanding of radio network planning, spectrum management, and electronic warfare.
• Experience with geospatial or cartographic data management.

Professional Skills

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong consulting and customer advisory skills.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently across both civil and defense projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Mid- to senior-level hands-on experience in RF engineering.
• Authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available).
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
