R&D Power Electronics Sr. Engineer – Automotive Business Unit

Location: Delta Electronics Thailand, RD Center, Samutprakarn

Working Hours: 7:40 - 16:40 (Mon - Fri) / Onsite 100%

Job Summary:

• Power electronics engineer is responsible for assisting in developing power converter hardware (AC/DC, DC/DC) for automotive application. Candidate will have opportunity to work closely with well-known European or US EV makers.

Your main role is to:

• Perform power stage/circuit calculation & design, circuit simulation, stability analysis and all active/passive component selection.
• Troubleshoot power converter including technical documentation.
• Collaborate with digital control engineer, magnetics engineer, mechanical engineer, thermal engineer, FW engineer to ensure design success until reliably manufacturing.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with good circuit analysis skill, preferred Master’s Degree or PhD in power electronics industry. Experienced from automotive industry is a plus.

Skills: Strong technical background in the field of:

• Strong in Circuit Analysis, Power Converter, Control theory
• Basic digital circuit
• Troubleshooting & analyzing technical problem.
• Verbal and written communications skills in English.
• Able to travel oversees to Europe, China.
• Professional working attitude, high responsibility and good teamwork, Eager to learn new things & technology most important.
