High Power Electromagnetics Engineer

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop and integrate robust quantum sensors for inertial or electromagnetic sensing
  • Design and develop sensor subsystems such as optical traps, electronics, magnetic field controllers, or vacuum and cryogenics for quantum sensor
  • Undertake systems development with scientists, software engineers, and users to ensure successful transition of lab devices into sensor payloads

Job Requirements

  • PhD / Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Optics or Photonics
  • Experience in any of the following: analog/digital electronics, RF electronics, power electronics, lasers, optics, high vacuum, or cryogenic experiments
  • Knowledge or experience in quantum physics is preferred but not essential
  • Working proficiency in a programming language (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
  • Team player and self-driven learner
  • Passionate in translating lab technologies into real world applications
