As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer with project coordination responsibilities, you will take on a dual role - contributing to technical development while also coordinating projects within the embedded software team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise while also developing your leadership skills, with a path toward a future team lead position.

More specifically, you will:

• Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of embedded software solutions for Melexis products.
• Act as a technical coordinator, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams and disciplines.
• Drive technical project planning and execution while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Ensure adherence to Melexis embedded software development processes, including ISO 26262 and ASPICE compliance.
• Contribute to improving development methodologies, tooling, and DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team.

Your profile

• University degree in engineering, electronics, mathematics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of electronics.
• Extensive experience in embedded software development with deep knowledge of C and familiarity with assembly language.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages, GNU Compiler tools, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience with IDEs (Visual Studio Code, Eclipse) and in-circuit debugging tools.
• Strong debugging, validation, and software architecture skills.
• Familiarity with project coordination or leadership responsibilities and the ability to drive technical initiatives.
• Knowledge of version control, configuration management, and continuous integration tools.
• Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
