Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Hardware Design Engineer
with strong expertise in
motor control and
power
electronic

to design and develop cost-effective, high-performance hardware solutions for
power
tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will own the hardware development lifecycle from concept through production, focusing on robust design, verification, manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design and develop motor control hardware systems, including
power
stages, control circuitry, and protection circuits.

Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and hardware prototypes.

Design and update AC-DC and DC-DC
power
circuits.
-
Develop and enhance solutions for BLDC, PMSM, and brushed motor applications.

Conduct motor control testing, design verification, EMI/EMC testing, and compliance activities.

Develop and maintain custom test setups for motor control verification.

Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Test (DFT) initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering,
Electronic
s Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in hardware design and motor control systems development.

Strong experience in
power
electronic
s design.

Hands-on experience performing motor control verification using custom laboratory setups.

Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium and OrCAD.

Strong knowledge of BLDC and PMSM motor systems, along with EMI/EMC principles.

Excellent hardware debugging and troubleshooting skills in laboratory environments.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience setting up hardware laboratories for motor design testing using closed-loop control mechanisms.
