Responsible for EMC development activities for Cockpit, ADAS, and Centralized Computing hardware products, supporting EMC design and problem resolution throughout the entire product lifecycle, from architecture definition and hardware development to testing and validation. Ensure products meet vehicle-level and component-level EMC performance requirements through EMC design reviews, simulation and analysis, test debugging and corrective actions, as well as supplier technical reviews.

Qualification Education

  • Master degree in electronic/eltectro-technic, computer science or similar course of studies
  • Fluent English and Chinese is mandatory; German language knowledge is an advantage Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of automotive EMC development experience
  • Experience in automotive ECU development projects
  • Familiar with EMC testing and debugging activities
  • Experience in EMC issue analysis and resolution
  • Experience in Cockpit, ADAS or Domain Controller projects
  • EMC simulation experience
  • Supplier technical review experience Specific Knowledge
  • EMC Design & Engineering Fundamentals
  • Solid understanding of electromagnetic compatibility mechanisms, including emission sources, coupling paths and victim systems
  • Ability to translate EMC requirements into practical hardware design guidelines
  • Good understanding of grounding, shielding, filtering and return path design principles
  • Knowledge of EMC considerations for high-speed digital circuits, power electronics and mixed-signal systems
  • Ability to identify EMC risks during architecture, schematic and PCB design phases
  • Hardware Development & Integration
  • Understanding of automotive hardware development processes
  • Familiarity with schematic review and PCB layout review from EMC perspective
  • Understanding of interactions between EMC, signal integrity, power integrity and thermal design
  • Ability to work closely with hardware developers to improve product EMC robustness
  • EMC Analysis & Problem Solving
  • Strong capability in EMC root-cause analysis and troubleshooting
  • Ability to correlate laboratory test failures with actual design weaknesses
  • Experience in analyzing complex EMC issues and defining corrective actions
  • Ability to evaluate effectiveness of mitigation measures through simulation, testing and engineering judgement
  • Supplier Technical Review & Quality Assessment
  • Ability to assess EMC design quality of supplier-developed hardware
  • Experience reviewing EMC design concepts, validation strategies and test results
  • Ability to identify technical risks and drive corrective actions with suppliers
  • Capability to challenge technical assumptions and ensure engineering rigor
  • Engineering Judgement & Vehicle Perspective
  • Ability to evaluate the real vehicle impact of EMC, electrical performance and environmental test deviations
  • Understanding of the relationship between component-level performance and vehicle-level behavior
