PCB Design and Fabrication Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a practical and precise PCB Technician to support our engineering team in the fabrication, testing, and quality verification of circuit boards. You will be the hands-on expert in the lab, running fabrication equipment and ensuring that every prototype meets electrical standards. This role requires excellent soldering skills and a disciplined approach to lab maintenance and ESD compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Electronics or Mechatronics.
• 3+ years of experience in PCB assembly and testing.
• Proficiency in handling measurement tools (multimeters, LCR meters) and inspection equipment.
• Excellent manual soldering and rework skills.
• Strong understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare Gerber files and operate PCB fabrication and prototyping equipment.
• Conduct electrical continuity, impedance, and functional tests on newly fabricated boards.
• Support the prototyping process and maintain an organized PCB samples database.
• Ensure strict ESD control and cleanliness compliance within the lab environment.
• Assist engineers in identifying and documenting board-level defects.
