Support CAD environment for the design of high-speed Mixed-Signal integrated circuits for test and measurement applications

Troubleshoot CAD interface issues as required
-
Coordinate support issues with EDA tool and foundry vendors
-
Install and configure EDA tools and Process Design Kits from vendors
-
Contribute to enhancement of Mixed-Signal design environment
Your Qualifications
-
Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years experience.
-
Experience/proficiency in Unix administration; Linux OS support
-
Strong UNIX/Linux and scripting language (Perl/TCL/csh/etc) .
-
Proficient with Mixed Signal SoC EDA front and back end tools
-
Experience/proficiency with IC design tool set, Cadence preferred
-
Skill programming language, extraction tool set support, Spectre/xrun/ams knowledge is highly desirable
-
Experience with setting up, documenting, and maintaining analog and digital IC design flows
-
Experience with administration of load/resource balancing compute farms (e.g. LSF, Grid, NC)
-
Ability to work independently and develop quick engineering solutions for complex problems
-
High problem solving capacity and good tolerance for ambiguity, able to prioritize tasks independently
-
Highly motivated even under high work load
-
Fluent in English and German
