Lead and manage a team of developers and testers, including conducting regular 1:1 meetings, yearly performance reviews, and providing coaching to foster best practices
Plan, distribute, and track tasks within the team using tools such as Jira, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
Act as a key stakeholder in Mechatronics Committees within Palfinger AG, contributing to cross-functional initiatives and strategic decisions
Define and maintain high-level software application requirements while ensuring alignment with business and technical needs
Manage interfaces with external suppliers (ECUs, HMI, sensors) and ensure compliance of electronic products with relevant legislation and standards
Your Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a embedded software development within machinery or automotive environments and mandatory people management experience
Strong understanding of the firmware lifecycle, including requirements engineering, verification, and validation (V&V)
Solid experience with embedded software development toolchains (C programming, Git, static analysis, HIL, unit testing, debugging, CI/CD),
Knowledge of fieldbus systems such as CANopen and J1939, as well as relevant safety /cyber security standards (e.g., Machinery Directive, ISO 13849, IEC 62443)
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally; fluent in English and French , both written and verbal ,German would be considered an advantage
