You Are:

You are a motivated and research-driven PhD candidate / Research Engineer with strong theoretical and hands-on experience in advanced modeling and intelligent systems. You have solid expertise in at least one of the following areas: machine learning or reinforcement learning (connectionist approaches), probabilistic theory, data science, formal methods, or simulation and testing techniques.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct research and development on advanced algorithms and models
  • Design, implement, and test innovative solutions and prototypes
  • Work with simulation and testing methodologies (e.g., scenario-based testing)
  • Analyze and apply scientific literature to practical use cases
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on embedded and intelligent systems
  • Contribute to experimentation, validation, and performance evaluation

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or relevant field
  • Holder of a Master 2 or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related areas
  • Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • Machine Learning / Reinforcement Learning (connectionist approaches)
  • Probabilistic theory
  • Data Science
  • Formal methods (symbolic approaches)
  • Simulation and testing methods
  • Good understanding of embedded systems
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Programming: Python, C
