We are looking for a Lead Engineer to take technical ownership of complex R&D projects that span electronics, mechanics, and firmware . In this role, you will act as the key link between engineering and project management , ensuring that technical decisions align with overall project goals. You bring cross-disciplinary knowledge of product development, interpersonal skills, and the ability to guide and support teams across multiple domains.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Technical Ownership of multidisciplinary projects, providing direction and hands-on guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Project Leadership, balancing technical depth with project management needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration with project, product, and engineering teams across the organization to ensure alignment and delivery.
  • Quality & Compliance ensuring high standards, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement .
  • Agility in Execution, streamlining workflows to speed up development, reduce risks, and improve time-to-market.


Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles, with a focus on product development.
  • Higher technical education with expertise in robotics, automation, intelligent software, or related disciplines.
  • Solid understanding of serial production environments, including the processes needed to bring products efficiently to market.
  • Business acumen with the ability to interpret market dynamics and contribute to both strategic planning and execution.
  • Collaborative leadership style, fostering innovation, accountability, and talent development while creating an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives.

Location for this role is either in our offices in Vindafjord (Nedre Vats) or Oslo (Lysaker).
