Join onsemi’s New Product Development team in Brno, Czech Republic, where we define, design, and validate cutting-edge analog-digital integrated circuits. Our focus is on high-performance sensor interfaces, drivers, and communication circuits, primarily for the automotive industry.

We are looking for a Lead Analog Design Engineer . In this role, you will contribute to and oversee the development of our state-of-the-art products, starting with architecture all the way to production.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with marketing and customers to define system-level requirements and IC specifications.
  • Define and oversee detailed simulations using modern EDA tools and accurate models.
  • Work closely with layout engineers to translate schematics into silicon.
  • Lead technical aspects of projects including task planning and coordination.
  • Write design documentation and test plans.
  • Support product qualification and manufacturing, including yield improvement and customer issue resolution.
  • Ensure first-pass success and timely execution using established design methodologies.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in mixed-signal design and/or verification.
  • Solid understanding of circuit analysis and mixed-signal design principles.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise.
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with mixed-signal architectures, system and chip partitioning, high-performance digital and analog IP.
  • Advanced knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
  • DSP and microcontroller knowledge.
  • Awareness of EMC design considerations.
