Language & Parsing Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Language & Parsing Engineer to build intelligent code analysis systems that power advanced software engineering capabilities.

As a Senior Language & Parsing Engineer, you will design and develop language tooling that enables deep understanding of enterprise codebases. You will work on parsers, Abstract Syntax Trees (ASTs), symbol resolution, static analysis, and dependency mapping to help build intelligent systems capable of accurately reasoning about source code.

• Design and develop parsers and AST extraction pipelines for enterprise programming languages.
• Build systems for symbol resolution, type analysis, scope analysis, and dependency mapping.
• Develop static analysis tools that understand code structure beyond text-based parsing.
• Build scalable solutions to analyze large, multi-language codebases.
• Implement code intelligence features such as symbol indexing, call graph generation, import resolution, and dependency analysis.
• Collaborate with AI and platform engineering teams to improve code understanding and automation capabilities.
• Optimize parsing and analysis performance for large-scale repositories.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews.

• 5–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals with hands-on experience in:
• Abstract Syntax Trees (AST)
• Parsing techniques
• Symbol resolution
• Type systems and scope analysis
• Static code analysis
• Deep experience with at least one enterprise programming language ecosystem such as Java or C#, including its build tools and dependency management.
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable software systems.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with parser generators and parsing frameworks.
• Knowledge of compiler front-ends, compiler internals, or language tooling.
• Experience building Language Server Protocol (LSP) implementations or IDE language services.
• Familiarity with code indexing, semantic analysis, and large-scale code intelligence platforms.
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted software engineering or developer tooling is an added advantage.
