Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Junior Hardware Engineer role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Junior Hardware Engineer will assist in designing, testing, and optimizing hardware components and electronic circuits for robotic and automation systems. Daily tasks include creating and updating schematic diagrams and PCB layouts, supporting prototyping and debugging of hardware modules, and collaborating closely with firmware, mechanical, and control engineers. The role involves preparing technical documentation, participating in design reviews, and ensuring that designs meet safety, reliability, and performance standards. The engineer will also help implement design improvements based on test results and feedback from internal teams and clients.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in electronic circuit design and hardware engineering, with the ability to work on schematics and PCB layout for embedded and robotic systems.

Familiarity with common design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, SPICE) and basic experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.

Knowledge of microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, power electronics, and communication interfaces commonly used in robotics and automation.

Understanding of hardware development processes, including prototyping, testing, debugging, and design for manufacturability and reliability.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to read and write technical documentation in English and collaborate effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.

Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.

Experience or coursework related to robotics, automation, or Industry 4.0 systems is a strong plus.
